Welcome to Calvary Baptist Church!
Calvary Baptist Church is an independent Baptist Church located in Englewood, on the beautiful coast of Southwest Florida. Englewood is a place of beautiful sunsets, which lower into the faithful tides of the blue green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, which have remained unchanged throughout the years.
Just like the Gulf of Mexico, we have a God who is eternal and changes not.
"Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God." (Psalms 90:2)
Since 1969 the church has stood for the fundamentals of the faith and continues today to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe the truth of God is eternal and therefore does not change. we believe it, we teach it, and we preach it.
